This key does not invalidate warranty and is safe to use. In fact this type of key has been used on many motorcycles uptill now . Its just that it is now available for the Kove. The key advances the ignition by 4 degrees and gives a boost in performance especially in the low and mid range. It also smooths out the engine further.
Flywheel puller required is right hand thread M28 P1.0 internal thread. GPX do not sell them but they are widely available. Search facebook GPX pages for fitting instructions.

- GO SLOW AND METHODICAL.
- CAREFULLY REMOVE THE TANK . DONT PUT UNDUE STRAIN ON THE PETROL CONNECTION FITTINGS OR YOU'LL CAUSE DAMAGE.
- WHEN YOU REMOVE THE CASING BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE GASKET
- INSTALL THE KEY CORRECTLY. THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE IS HERE https://www.kovemotousa.com/store/p/advanced-flywheel-key-450-rally
- TORQUE THE FLYWHEEL BOLT CORRECTLY - NOT WITH A WIZ GUN !.
- INSTALL THE GASKET AND CASE CORRECTLY TO ENSURE THERE IS NO OIL LEAKAGE.
We do not have gaskets to cover this amount of flywheel keys however we have been advised that the gaskets do not tear and can be resealed on their own or with a touch of sealant. We have investigated getting 40 flywheel gaskets quickly and its simply not possible.

You may also decide to fit a new gasket and we may have that in stock right now, or you could reapply the original gasket on its own or using gasket sealant.
